CORDYCEPS for cancer support and immune modulation ( & my personal experience)
I added Cordyceps to my health routine about 2 years ago and the results were astounding. I'm an extremist by nature, so in my typical extremist fashion, I began with about 1-2 tablespoons of Cordyceps a day. Within a few days I noticed my energy levels soar, not the caffeine type of jittery energy but that true, innate energy that comes from deep within. After about 3 weeks all my lower back pain and knee pain had vanished and I began running again with the ease I had in my 20's. I had heard somewhere that Cordyceps was one of the few ancient herbs that had the ability to restore your prenatal Jing, the life force you are born with given to you by your mother. As I continued taking this super mushroom each day, I was convinced this was true. Since then, I have regularly recommended my clients who are going through chemotherapy to add this into their protocols and the results have been truly remarkable.
An ancient Chinese medicinal fungus, Cordyceps sinensis (CS), has been used for almost 2,000 years to treat a wide range of ailments, including various cancers.
Cordyceps sinensis is a parasitic fungus found on the larvae of Lepidoptera (caterpillar) and is also known as Jing Zhi Dongchong Xiacao. Ancient Chinese Emperors used this special treatment to build resistance against diseases, respiratory weakness and for sexual tonification. Cordyceps has shown to have antibiotic, anti-viral and antioxidant effects.
Cordyceps' ability to modulate the immune system and its usage in combination with advanced chemotherapeutic drugs has been extensively investigated in recent years. A number of pharmacological actions of cordycepin, one of the active ingredients, have been shown, to affect the division and proliferation of malignant cells, it has also demonstrated to stimulate T cell production.
Medicinal mushrooms like Cordyceps are often used in Asian soups because of their nutritional and tonic qualities. Polysaccharides, the main immunological modulators, are found in abundance in Cordyceps, as are vitamins and minerals.
As Cordyceps sinensis has low drug conflicts, it may typically be used safely in combination with conventional treatments. Always talk to your doctor before using herbal medications, especially in combination with chemotherapy.
Some of my favourite Cordyceps products include:
* Teelixir Cordyceps powdered supplement
* Lifecykel Cordyceps liquid drops
* Superfeast Cordyceps powder
* Panaxea #1 Body
